मलेरिया कुछ प्रकार के मच्छरों द्वारा मनुष्यों में फ़ैलाने वाली एक बीमारी है इसका अधिक प्रभाव उष्ण कटिबंधीय क्षेत्रों में होता है इस बीमारी की रोकथाम की जा सकती है और इसका उपचार भी संभव है यह एक प्रकार का परजीवी संक्रमण है और एक व्यक्ति से दूसरे व्यक्ति में नहीं फैलता है
मादा एनाफिलिस का जीवन चक्र
सामान्यतः अन्य मच्छरों की तरह मादा एनाफिलिस मच्छर का जीवन चक्र भी 4 चरणों में पूरा होता है अंडा, लार्वा, प्यूपा तथा वयस्क जिसमें प्रथम 3 चरण जलीय होते हैं और वयस्क अवस्था में मादा एनाफिलिस मच्छर मलेरिया का वाहक बनता है (मादा एनाफिलिस मच्छर सीधे पानी में अंडे देती हैं)

Generally, like other mosquitoes, the life cycle of the female Anopheles mosquito also completes in 4 stages – egg, larva, pupa and adult, in which the first 3 stages are aquatic and in the adult stage, the female Anopheles mosquito becomes the carrier of malaria (female Anopheles mosquito directly enters water. lay eggs in)
